From the back tee (381 m) a demanding tee shot over a ditch (can be avoided by the shorter hitter by bailing out to the 18th fairway) and dense Karoo bush all along the left side. A rocky outcrop juts into the fairway 90 metres from a green that is built into a mound and with a single bunker to the left.
